Giovanni Belzoni, an Italian explorer and pioneering archaeologist, made a remarkable discovery in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt when he uncovered the Tomb of Seti I. This tomb, designated KV17, is one of the largest and most elaborate burial sites of the New Kingdom period.
