The Konbaung–Hanthawaddy War spanned from 1740 to 1757 and was pivotal in shaping the political landscape of Burma. Rising tensions between the Konbaung dynasty, based in Upper Burma, and the Hanthawaddy Kingdom in Lower Burma led to a series of conflicts characterized by territorial disputes and power struggles.
