Fine Air Flight 101 was a cargo flight that took off from Miami International Airport, destined for the Dominican Republic. Shortly after liftoff, the McDonnell Douglas DC-8 encountered severe problems, causing the pilots to lose control. The aircraft began to descend rapidly and crashed into a warehouse district just a few miles from the airport.
