Born in Finland, established a prominent reputation as a cellist. Studied at the Sibelius Academy before furthering education in the United States. Performed with numerous orchestras and contemporary ensembles across Europe and America. Engaged in a variety of chamber music collaborations and participated in international festivals. Worked extensively with composers to premiere new works for the cello. Served as a lecturer at various institutions, sharing expertise in cello performance and interpretation.
