Born in 1986, a Quebec native, played as a professional ice hockey goaltender. Selected 26th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. Served as a backup goaltender, contributing to the team's success in reaching the Stanley Cup Finals in 2011. In 2013, traded to the New Jersey Devils, where he became the starting goalie. Achieved a career-high in save percentage during the 2014-2015 season. Represented the United States in international play, participating in the 2010 Winter Olympics and winning a silver medal at the 2009 World Championships.
