Franco Di Santo
Argentinian footballer and striker
Born in Argentina in 1989, Di Santo began a professional football career with the Argentine club Arsenal de Sarandí. In 2008, he moved to Europe, signing with Chelsea F.C. in the Premier League. Following that, stints included Wigan Athletic, where he was part of the team that won the FA Cup in 2013, and several other clubs in Europe and South America. Di Santo played primarily as a striker and represented Argentina at various youth levels, including participation in the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship.
