A professional basketball player and coach. Played college basketball at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and won three consecutive NCAA championships from 1967 to 1969. Selected by the New York Knicks in the 1972 NBA Draft. Played for the Knicks, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the San Diego Clippers in the NBA. Transitioned to coaching, leading several college programs, including a successful tenure at the University of Southern California (USC). Bibby contributed to the development of numerous players during and after his coaching career.
