Born in December 1987, a mass shooting occurred during a midnight screening of 'The Dark Knight Rises' in Aurora, Colorado, in July 2012. The incident resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals and injuries to 70 others, marking one of the deadliest shootings in American history.
