Pavel Korin

A prominent Russian painter, contributions included extensive work in various styles, most notably in the realistic and impressionistic forms. Developed a unique approach to landscape painting and religious themes, often depicting scenes of Russian life and folklore. The artist was deeply influenced by the Russian countryside and traditional cultural motifs. Worked on significant large-scale murals, one of which is the famous mural at the Church of the Ascension in Moscow. Engaged with various art movements throughout the early to mid-20th century and participated in numerous exhibitions.
