Kielce Pogrom Against Jewish Survivors

Following a rumor about a Jewish kidnapping of a Christian child, a mob formed, leading to the assault on Jews who had returned to the city after the war. The tragedy highlighted the pervasive antisemitism in Poland after the Holocaust and underscored the dangers faced by survivors seeking to rebuild their lives.
