Treblinka was notorious as one of the deadliest Nazi death camps, where approximately 900,000 individuals were murdered in less than 18 months. Amid the bleak circumstances, the uprising was fueled by a desire for freedom and to resist the oppressive conditions that plagued the camp. Survivors attempted to destroy the camp's infrastructure while others brave the perilous escape.
