Mount Agung Erupts, Causing Widespread Devastation

Mount Agung, the highest volcano in Bali, erupted violently, leading to significant loss of life and destruction of property. The eruption began in March and culminated on March 17, resulting in pyroclastic flows and ash clouds threatening nearby villages. More than 1,100 people lost their lives, and tens of thousands were displaced, creating a humanitarian crisis.
