The Rashidun Caliphate achieved a decisive victory over the Sasanian Empire at the Battle of al-Qādisiyyah. Fought near the Euphrates River in Iraq, this battle marked a significant turning point in the struggle between the Caliphate and the Sasanian forces. The Muslim army, commanded by Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, demonstrated exceptional tactics and bravery, leading to the eventual collapse of the Sasanian forces led by Rustom Farrokhzad.
