Septimius Severus

Severus initiated military campaigns in Britain and against the Parthian Empire, successfully increasing Roman influence in the East. Implemented reforms within the military and administration, enhancing the loyalty of soldiers through increased pay and benefits. Established the Severan dynasty, which continued for nearly three decades after his death.
