Born in 1861, this individual became a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement. Instrumental in founding the Madrasi Indian Association and played a key role in the Paris Indian Society. This individual is remembered for unfurling the first Indian national flag at the International Socialist Conference in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1907, symbolizing the call for freedom and self-rule.
